Further investigation unearthed the fact that they actually had a 100% track record of safety.... It is said that our friends at the Mexican Airline consequently decided to run with a client retention campaign aptly titled `With us you WILL arrive \'. One of our favourite examples of the harmony between excellent performance and effective communication is a case study from work that we \'ve done with BIFM. We call it `BIFM the Dealmaker \'. Most urban dwellers in Botswana recognize this company \'s name.  Its core function is to manage pensioners \' and investors` financial assets but, we couldn \'t prove how many people actually appreciated the extent of BIFM \'s contribution to our country \'s admirable economic stability, and just how far the BIFM footprint goes throughout the world. These questions inspired a thorough action plan particularly targeting the media. This plan saw us deploy some of our favourite tricks from the Hotwire PRC Toolbox. The results of this project included extensive publicity about BIFM \'s position as a leader in investment at a national level. This was observed in various national media platforms such as print and electronic, to the value of over 3 million Pula. A stronger relationship was also established between BIFM and the media in Botswana which continues to positively contribute to accurate reportage of our client in the news. This involved producing their 90 000-page strong Annual Reports on 100% recycled matt-coated paper made from 100% post consumer  waste. Little surprise that they won Best Overall Annual Report...again! Their decision to produce Botswana \'s first ever `Green \' annual report saved water and electricity equivalent to over two months \' supply from a single household! It \'s an exciting concept, to save money with a necessary annual publication. Surely there shall be those who follow this impressive example, yes? The thing about it is, whoever will come to follow, BTC shall forever be remembered as the innovator in this regard. Practical, yet memorable. Through it, readers would visit the page, read first hand communication from leaders of this organisation and in turn express themselves directly to the powers that be, behind the organisation \'s brand. The result was an overwhelming shift in the public \'s perception of this organisation as an inaccessible entity, and it demystified several elements of the organisation \'s operation. About seven months into the fan page \'s existence, it now enjoys an admirable 3950 people strong fan base, over 370 000 page views and 30 000 postings or comments by the fan base per month. We \'d like to believe that to be a sterling example of innovation in communication for Botswana. Globally this platform is becoming standard issue. Now, before the tiny little red critic on your left shoulder asks...The cost of  setting up and running such a Facebook page is less than 1 % of the cost of a conventional advertising campaign reaching the same numbers of people! Every respectable business requires some kind of stakeholder engagement activation from time to time.
